In 2010, Iveco launched the new Eurocargo Hybrid, which is equipped with a parallel diesel/electric propulsion system that offers a reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of up to 30% in urban driving conditions. In the heavy category, Iveco presented the EcoStralis. The engine, aerodynamics and electronic systems make this an innovative and powerful vehicle with optimum fuel consumption and emissions performance. And of course the prototype Glider, a concept truck that proposes innovative productivity solutions for long-haul use, focusing on energy efficiency and on-board comfort.
